On our visit from the US to see our son and his family we decided to go with the cheaper hotel than our first choice knowing we wouldn't be in the hotel much and now when we return to Japan Chisun will be our first choice. The hotel is very clean (as are most places in Japan) and the staff very helpful and friendly but not so good with English. The room is not very spacious but the bed was a queen (sometimes hard to find in Japan). Having a little refrigerator in the room was very convenient to have cold drinks on hand. There is a Western/Japanese breakfast buffet for $5 which is ok but we opted to walk to a convenience store which is only a couple of blocks away. Chisun is also within walking distance of a large mall, cinemas, wine & spirits shop, outlet mall and the local bus station. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Sano and the surrounding area.
