"OK, this hotel was built in the 40s and renovated in 2010. It is cute and modern. The dining room was not open as it was a national holiday, still they should provide services regardless. There is no parking! The free parking is on the street. The advertised hot tub was broken. They need to provide a way to make tea and coffee in the room as the breakfast time is 8-9:30. "I came to stay in low season in May after a city break in Alicante city. I found Villa Joyosa to be really nice quiet and peaceful. The hotel is located in a really great location about 5 mins walk from the beach. The room was really clean and fitted to a great standard. I really appreciate the small finishing touches like Rituals amenities in the bathroom. The place its self is really clean and modern and seems to be newly refurbished with a great style. They even have Porcelanosa shower and toilet/sink (expensive fittings). I really appreciate the place and would love to stay again. Easy to check in and out with passcode access and the owner was really great with communication - available on WhatsApp and quick to reply. I can’t fault the hotel or location all was great. I even asked to extend my stay an extra day due to a late flight and they were more than accommodating. Overall a 10/10 stay and super pleased I picked this place. - I’m a little bit of a hotel snob so this place rates highly in my standards! "
