Great views from the rooms. Great amenities (gym, pools, etc.). I already told local friends this should be the place they recommend to others who come to visit. Easy parking in the area (compared to other places) and easy to get around. Staff was also excellent - friendly and responsive.

I loved everything about this hotel. The food is amazing, the staff are so nice and helpful, and there are so many things to do, both at the hotel and on the island. The hotel itself is very nice. My room was large and comfortable. I had to extend my stay due to bad weather and they were very accommodating. I will definitely be back!

The property exceeded all my expectations — it was peaceful, relaxing, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. I stayed here with my family for my 40th birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it special. The spa facilities were amazing, we loved the saunas and the steam bath. Swimming in the ocean was also lovely as was the outdoor pool area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect at the sea, we had a room with a seaview. Personnel was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with many various dishes. We liked everything else except a couple of cockroaches we saw in the room two times during our stay.

Greta stay at Galosol

Great location by the ocean with access to several pools and the sauna and steam rooms with ocean views was amazing. The room was very spacious, bigger than we expected and the breakfast offered a wide selection. The staff were also friendly. There are a few restaurants within walking distance although I would recommend having a car to explore further

Absolutely lovely hotel, the breakfast brunch was fantastic every time. The location is great if you plan to travel around the island as it’s 20 seconds from the highway. The ocean view was great as well. The restaurant and markets that are 30 seconds walk from the hotel were phenomenal as well. Definitely staying here again when I come back!

Can’t wait to go back!

A wonderful end to my time in Madeira. The hotel was stunning and the staff were so lovely and welcoming. My room was one of the best hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed out of all my various trips - extremely clean, well ventilated, warm and cosy and as someone who is passionate about interior styling, I really appreciated the minimalist design. Breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurant was good and the close proximity to local restaurants and shops was a bonus too. Already dreaming about my next stay here 😍
