Everything was very good — clean and well equipped. Bed linen, towels, kitchenware and appliances were all provided, and the parking was great too. The view was amazing, and of course the special Madeira touch — watching the planes take off and land, visible even from the room. Overall, everything was perfect. Highly recommended!

Very good communication, given the door codes before arriving. Accommodation was excellent, bed was very comfy and shower fab. We used public transport so you need to work out the buses that pass the door unless you don't mind walking. It's about a 25 minute walk to the airport from the property. Lovely garden area and has a banana plantation right in front of accommodation. Airport is very close so many flights taking off and landing. If using buses you can use the 113 bus to and from machico but must have a b for bemposta to go past the door. Kitchen facilities are excellent in the property. About 20 /25 minute walk to Santa Cruz. Nice views over the sea. Would certainly recommend and use in the future. Cheers 😁😁

A nice place to stay and perfect location to observe flight taking off and landing, if you are not sensitive to related noise. In fact, it was less disturbing than we thought :) the host was very nice, and let us pick up fruits from the own garden above :) I would recommend this place, keeping the airport nearby in mind.

Ein schönes und gut ausgestattetes und geräumiges Haus. Vor dem Haus gibt es eine kleine Terrasse, wo man das Geschehen auf dem Flughafen beobachten kann. Es ist schon interessant aber teilweise etwas laut. Wir wussten es, deswegen hat es uns auch nicht gestört. Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeit auf dem Gelände, gepflegte Anlage. Auch eine Bushaltestelle und Tankstelle in der Nähe.

Ei mennyt ihan putkeen!

Tulin myöhään illalla, en saanut annetulla numerolla porttia auki enkä yhteyttä majoittajaan! enkä Hotels.comiin, siellä vastasi vain ropotti jonka mielestä asialle ei voinut mitään! Menin Funchalin keskustaan yöpymään. Seuraavana päivänä sain yhteyden mutta olin edellisen päivän ja yön matkustamisesta niin väsynyt että olin vielä toisen yön Funchalissa. Kolmantena päivänäkään portti ei auennut puhelimella joten soitin majoittajalle, hän vastasi välittömästi ja avasi portin. Majoituspaikasta sain toimivan avaimen, mutta olin jo menettänyt kaksi yöpymistä ja tein päätöksen että harkitsen tarkkaan ennen kuin varaan huonetta Hotels.comin kautta!

I'm a plane Spotter, so it was ideal for me, 30 minutes walk from Madeira airport, views over looking the airport, there is no heating or air conditioning in the bungalow, it's well equipped quite spacious, new like condition, considering how close it was to the runway aircraft noise wasn't much of a problem, not really any flights 9pm until 6 or 7am, From Neil
