"We booked this hotel under the pretense that the resturant was open for business and the taxi price rate was similar to the rest of Ecuador or the reviews in our travel book. Hotel served a nice breakfast BUT no other food is available so one must go into Puerto Ayora for lunch and dinner. The taxi rate to and from hotel into town can be anywhere from $10-$15 each way..... if u want to freshen up after a long tour that will be 4 taxi rides......$40-$60 per day. Lawrence offered us a ride...

"What an excellent stay and experience at Acacia. Jose and staff were super attentive and helpful. Room and grounds were clean. Breakfast and coffee was an added perk and was great as well. Highly recommend and will be back as soon as we’re able to. Don’t look elsewhere "
