“We found this hotel right on the beach in Santa Cruz to be ideal for a seaside night. The rooms are artfully decorated in a classic California beach theme and they are scrupulously maintained and cleaned. The amenities are excellent and beds comfortable. The pool is small but the chairs can face the ocean and, of course, the beach is just down a stair. The adjacent Jack O’Neill restaurant down the first floor corridor was very good with great evening views. Beach volleyball etc was available for...

“Close walk to the beach. Rooms were nice and comfortable. The parking was a little confusing at first because we had to use the overflow lot but once we figured it out, it was fine.”

“Very clean. Small for the price but location is everything. It’s just the right amount of loud during the day and surprisingly quiet as soon as the boardwalk closes. Everything we needed we had and the parking was great!”

“A good business hotel to stay. The parking is a bit inconvenient. Valet only and $23 a night.”

“Clean and quiet. Beds are comfortable. Various food options near the hotel. On-site parking is easy. Quick access to nice beaches including Steamer's lane, Pleasure point, and Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Hot tub is hard to be a big advantage, too small and no view. Overall, deserves a high score.”

“Pacific blue inn was like a typical inn in US. It was a lovely inn with very friendly staffs. I left my new laptop here and did not realize it at all almost for a whole day. I called here next day morning and they kept it until i went back to pick it up. I wanna say thanks to the staffs here again.”

“Love the location. Love the staff. Loved our room which was a king suite. It had charm and a cozy feel. The place is very welcoming, not modern and not perfect in perhaps the property style but that’s what I liked as it’s in the woods and such it felt appropriate. My big disappointment was the pool pump broke while we were there so we could it enjoy the pool but that’s random and doesn’t change the fact I’d be happy to visit again. The restaurant bar is great and so nice to have to just walk to!”

“The breakfast was delicious and healthy! They offer a lot of extras like wine and cheese, bikes and beach supplies. The rooms were comfortable and smelled fresh. I only wish there was a chair in my room. Otherwise still a 5-star experience! Fantastic location to getting to a popular beach as well.”
