This is not a hotel, there is staff but they leave by 7 pm. When I arrived, I had to wait an hour for a guest to phone a staff member to come and check us in. Having said that, the property is great and all of the staff are hardworking and friendly. I would stay here again, but be aware that this is not a hotel in the truest sense of the word.

Staff was amazing and they made my stay memorable. Felt like a family environment which made me feel safe. You can easily walk to restaurants and bars. The Exito thats 3 minutes walking was a huge help for anything you need. I will say that my room was pretty hot even with the A/C on and windows open so keep that in mind.

The stay was pleasant, I totally recommend visiting them since they offer a good value to the money and also accept pets without issues. The only warning is: be careful when arriving at night, the zone is lonely and can be dangerous, even if "Parque de los novios" is close to the location. Apart from that I really liked in my stay in the hotel. Thanks for your services.

Extremely helpful front desk lady. Helped reserve our rental car and allowed late checkout without cost. Breakfast was great. Simple eggs, toast and fruit, but the added fruit smoothie was a real treat that we didn't expect! Comfy bed and cool ac. No hot water in shower, but the water is temperate in Santa Marta so this is not an issue for us. I would definitely recommend, the price is very reasonable compared to other hotels and airbnbs.

Lovely staff. Hotel didn't live up to expectations - it is old, mattresses are hard and noisy location. However, it is clean. Hotel is close to old town which has lots of neat little restaurants but is not worth visiting.

Great place in Santa Marta
Stayed here before and after a night in Tayrona. Great staff and clean/spacious rooms. Downsides: hard bed and loud at night due to the convenient location.

Best hotel service
The service here was amazing. Matteo helped us to plan our trip to Tayrona, printed our boarding passes for our flights, arranged transport to the airport, and provided suggestions for food/entertainment. Hotel is clean and room was spacious. Rooftop pool is amazing. Only negatives are that it's loud at night (a trade-off given the convenient location) and the beds are super hard. Apparently they are orthopedic so some people might like that, but it's not my preference at all. Can easily walk to restaurants and the main bar area of Santa Marta from the hotel.

Very nice small hotel with spacious rooms and beautiful views from comfortable roof top patio. Staff was extremely helpful and breakfasts were delicious, fresh fruit and juice and made to order eggs. Located on pedestrian only street.

Nice spacious room in the city centre
Was a nice clean room and comfortable bed. It’s well located. You have a warm shower and breakfast on the roof top was also very nice. There was a power short cut due to rain in the whole street, not the fault of the hotel. Can recommend the place. Good value for money

Hotel pequeño, remodelado recientemente, cómodo y limpio, la zona no es muy agradable por ser en el centro de Santa Marta pero hay la ventaja de lo central y el transporte. La piscina es mas bien un jacuzzi grande. La ubicación del televisor en las habitaciones es incómoda, están en un soporte pegado a la pared con lo que es bien difícil verlo acostado en la cama. Con un soporte equalizable lo podrían solucionar.

We loved our stay in Casa Bugambilia! The room was comfortable and clean! Perfect location. But by far the best part of the hotel is the staff... if you really want to feel like home this is the perfect place to be.

Never seen a hotel without closets
Never seen a hotel without closets. Smelled of humidity, ants via the sliding patio door. I had an eight day reservation, but left sfter the first day. Will only receive half of my money back, oh well. Serves me right for looking for the cheapest.

hotel con excelente ubicación, cerca del parque de los novios, donde encuentras restaurantes, bares. a pocos pasos de la zona centro. el personal muy agradable, te resuelve cualquier duda. ofrece servicio de piscina la cual al final de una gran caminata te ayuda a relajarte. nos encanto el hotel, la habitación un toque de urbano, limpio y comodo. adicional, incluye el desayuno, con jugo, huevos al justo y excelente cafe... volveriamos sin dudarlo

This is a new hotel. Very noisy if you have a room next to the Calle. For Santa Martra good value for money spent. All staff A 1. Only complaint is the bed for the 3rd person is a fold down seat. This is not so good for extra person.

One of the Best Hotel Values I've Ever Experienced
A+ Fantastic. This hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff was fantastic, helped me arranged shuttles and taxis, breakfast was included and the price was unbeatable. One of the best values I've ever experienced. If you go to Santa Marta, you need to stay here. Also right down the street from a grocery store. The staff was all good, especially Juan at the front desk.

Beautiful stay in Santa Marta
Great local hotel renovated for modern comfort without losing it's Colombian charm. Staff very kind and helpful. Location very close to the best bars, restaurants, shopping and cafes around as well as walking distance to the beach/pier. Room was spacious and cute. Loved it all!

Tolles Hotel für Santa Marta!
Sind für 2 Nächte dort geblieben für Ausflüge in den Tayrona Park. Das Hotel ist alles neu gemacht und daher in tollem Zustand. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und springt English. Tollist auch der Pool auf dem Dach!

A gem in Santa Marta
We spent 2 nights at this wonderful hotel right on a main pedestrian strip with lots of restaurants, cafes, and bars. The room was very spacious, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the rooftop pool was absolutely lovely. I would definitely recommend staying here while you are in Santa Marta.

La experiencia en este hotel fue terrible, le alquile el hotel a mi esposo para que pudiera ir a un viaje de trabajo y le cobraron sobre el valor que mostraban como total de pago el valor del iva, que por que es del interior, que a los extranjeros no se les cobra iva pero al de interior si, por lo que me desiluciono mucho que quieran aprovecharse de las personas que son del mismo país. la pagina es muy buena y respetable por que he viajado y he reservado en el exterior y en Colombia hoteles y este es el primer inconveniente que tengo, y es directamente del hotel no de la pagina.
Apreciada Señora Rosa. Para aclarar esta duda, los valores mostrados son sin IVA, como aclara la pagina Expedia de donde hicieron su reserva. En caso de non-residentes de Colombia (turistas) la ley nos permite restarles el IVA (una iniciativa para impulsar el turismo en su país) pero para los Colombianos todos, la norma exige cobrar el IVA. Gracias por su comprehension.

En general es un buen hotel, creo que por ser Nuevo aun faltan cosas por ajustar, tales como: demasiada iluminacion en la habitacion, minibar, alcance del wifi, pero en resumen, lo recomiendo. Creo que son cosas que se pueden solucionar facilmente. La atencion del hotel es excelente y la terraza y la piscine son una Buena opcion para relajarse. El desayuno a la habitacion me parece excelente.

Wonderful place with super friendly staff
Wonderful hotel staff made our experience truly fantastic - easiest and quickest check-in we had experienced in Colombia, English speaking staff, nice pool on the roof, breakfast served in the room or by the pool, calling taxi and helping with directions. We couldn't wish for anything more. You will really feel welcomed here. Hotel is new and everything in the room is basically new.
