Property was exceptional as were the staff and their helpfulness. Area surrounding hotel not very safe at night, especially for travelers not used to foreign countries.

Beautiful hotel with clean, well-designed rooms. Both diner and breakfast were high-quality. Helpful service. We loved the different pool options, including rooftop hot tub. We were approached in a slightly threatening manner by individuals in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, who then began fighting amongst themselves. The hotel itself felt very secure, and we never felt unsafe on the hotel premises.

The staff were amazing and super accommodating. Food was fantastic! Rooms were quiet and comfortable. The facilities were great, with just a few minor issues: 1) our bathroom door didn't close completely -- not a deal breaker for us, but for some it may be. 2) our room was missing a smoke detector. 3) the water from the taps isn't drinkable .There is always water (and coffee!) available in the lobby, so not a major issue, but something that needs to be planned for overnight.

The hotel was excellent. It is clean and centrally located. The staff was super helpful, and many spoke English. We got in late our first night and they helped us order food from a local restaurant that did delivery. Luz at the restaurant was great and made excellent cocktails and smoothies, which we enjoyed while we were there.

Even though the hotel's nice, the neighborhood feels sketchy and not so safe to wander around. I'd really recommend the hotel beefs up security by getting some guards at the entrance. It's a cool spot, but just be cautious about the area when you stay there."

If you are only looking for beauty inside and excellent service, this is the hotel, the staff were amazing,food excellent,rooms are clean and pretty .however around they are plenty drug addicts ,homeless,and dirt but it’s close the Bahia and beautiful vintage buildings.

The service is so good here and the food is crazy delicious especially the ceviche. Rooms are ok but a bit outdated so some issues but the staff would fix it quickly. The pools are small but love the rooftop one. Location is right in the perfect spot to walk everywhere but the street is a little sketchy.

Space in the room, very clean site, staff were amiable and friendly, multiple pools and sites to chill. Not far from the street with multiple good restaurants, but a bit shaddy area, especially night time--take a taxi. All day coffee and fruits was appreciated. Dinner was good, breakfast ok. Breakfast staff very nice. Massage was very deep tissue, they worked hard 🙂

From the moment we checked to the last minute at Casa Carolina we were treated like VIPS. Excellent customer service and superb dining choices. A shout out to José David for helping us with a tour. A big tag k you to all the staff and management for a wonderful stay.

First time staying at Hotel Boutique Casa Carolina and the staff is fantastic and friendly. The property has some of the best rooms and overall aesthetics I have ever stayed at in a hotel. Additionally, the breakfast and dinner and bar are all convenient and exceptional.

Excellent hotel and staff!
Great hotel! Excellent staff and hotel at a reasonable price. The three pools and courtyards are beautiful. Easy walking distance to the Malecon and other places to visit in the city center The neighborhood is relatively safe but can be a littly sketchy at night. From the outside the hotel looks modest but it's beautiful upon entering. Best breakfast I've had in many trips to South America. Highly recommend.

El hotel es muy bonito, personal agradable y la chef muy buena pero es importante destacar que deberían tener en cuenta variar el menú, luego de dos días seguidos comiendo allí, aburre pensar comer lo mismo. Lo único realmente malo es la ubicación, zona muy fea y si vas con niños, muy inseguro.

Apreciada Iveth, muchas gracias por su comentario, tuve la oportunidad de verla en el hotel y es una placer que haya decidido hospedarse con nosotros por 4 noches y que haya probado nuestra deliciosa comida del restaurante, especialmente del desayuno. Nuestra carta es variada pero no extensa dado que nuestros platos son elaborados con productos frescos, locales y de estación, ademas con opciones para todas las personas, carnes, pollo, pescados, vegetariano, menu infantil,y hasta damos la opción al huésped de preguntar por algo adicional a la carta y si podemos con gusto lo preparamos. Con respecto a lo inseguro con niños, Santa Marta es una ciudad en desarrollo y como toda ciudad en Colombia sabemos que es un proceso que toma tiempo y esfuerzo de todos, Sin embargo con 10 años abiertos en la ciudad no hemos tenido problema con nuestros hijos o el de los huéspedes. Espero haya regresado bien a casa!

Casa Carolina is an oasis in the middle of Santa Martas old town. A wonderful place to stay, comfortable rooms with all you need, cool and clean. The personnel is extraordinarily friendly and helpful with everything you need. The restaurant ( breakfast , all day eating) is really delicious. Definetely a jewel and recommended.

Wow, wow, wow!!!! The price was unreal affordable for how nice the place is. Feels like 5 star resort. Rooms are huge clean and modern. The property has 3 pools and a restaurant with amazing food and drink. Staff was great all were 10/10. If I could give this place a higher rating ai would. Please stay here and save your money. It has all you could expect. I was happy I decided on the overnight trip here.

The property itself was good. Good staff members and good service. Unfortunately for us, on our last night there out power went out. We slept with out AC in a stuffy room. When you drive up to the property, you will not be impressed. The streets around the property are not upkept like they are in Parque de Los Novios.

Kann ich zu 100% mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen. Als meine Tour kurzfristig abgesagt wurde, hatte mir das Fräulein an der Rezeption eine gute Idee unterbreitet. War die Beste! Im Nachhinein bin ich froh, dass meine Tour ausgefallen war. Der Service ist hervorragend und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Daumen hoch mit Smiley.

Recomendadísimo!!!!
Es un hotel muy bonito, en persona se ve mucho más lindo que en las fotos. Las habitaciones son grandes y muy cómodas. La atención en general es excelente, particularmente Angela y Moisés son muuuy cordiales. El desayuno es muy rico!! Respecto a la zona, simplemente hay que tener en cuenta que se trata del centro de la ciudad y las implicaciones que estoy tiene particularmente en las noches pero normalmente hay parejas de policías en todas las esquinas del hotel. El hotel está a 3 cuadras de la zona rosa del centro histórico donde se encuentra todo tipo de comida y está muy cerca del Mercado donde puedes tomar transporte al Tayrona y a Palomino muy fácil. Resumen: totalmente recomendado y no se preocupen por la zona!!!
