"Very filthy room , lack of amnesties, they did not even bother renovating the room , dust everywhere, tge bedding are not clean , in addition to very rude receptionist."

"Nice small hotel. The room was clean and cleaned every day. The bathroom was clean. Staff was very friendly, though they are not at the front desk all the time, but they have a number you can call. The breakfast was OK, just coffee, a couple of types of bakes, toast bread and butter, and some fruits. "

"The ocean view was excellent. The heated hot tub pool was cold. Barely useful. The restaurant the waiters obviously were not getting along. Our food was okay but nothing great especially in light of the price. The electronic key often didn’t work so we had to get help often which was an inconvenience. Also it is expensive to park at the property with no other options close by. "

"For the location, price, and property it’s a great hotel. What I enjoyed most was they allowed us to check in early, breakfast hours 7-1030 give you enough time, and complimentary snacks 5-7. Downtown Ventura is just a walk away as well as Ventura pier. "

"Very freeway convenient and only about 15-20 minutes away from Santa Barbara/UCSB area. Ample free parking and Carpinteria is a nice laid back little town. Only negative is walks are thin so conversations aren’t very private and you can hear neighbors above walking all night. But for the price compared to others it was worth it. "
