“What an incredible week! We saw more animals on the grounds of our property than on our various trips in search of those animals during the week. The staff was exceptionally helpful. Our balcony view was both relaxing and entertaining. The breakfast was great and the pool area exceptional. We wished the restaurant was a little more affordable, and the road throughout the property could use some maintenance, but the friendliness of the staff and the awesome grounds made those shortcomings...

“We expected much more from this place, but of the five lodges we visited, this was the worst. Regarding the accommodation, we realized that the door could be opened with just a slight push, without even turning the handle, meaning anyone could enter the room even when the handle was locked. Furthermore, there was no water pressure for the shower, and the water had to be heated by a small heater built into the showerhead, but this gadget clearly didn't allow for temperature control; the water was...

“Inserted in the tropical cloud forest, this place is magic. The Toro Amarillo river taints the stones orange and gives a constant roaring, the congos haul to contrast with the crickets and cicada's background rhythm. But most of the healing comes from the hot, yellowish mineral spring water pool, alternating with the very cold, crystal clear spring water. While the cabins are rustic, the staff are all wonderful. We will come back for another “forest bathing”, and perhaps a zip-line adventure....
