"I stayed for 4 nights for a business conference, and there were definitely some pros and cons. PROS: - The conference space and views were perfect!! We had ocean views from the different rooms, and a balcony space to get some fresh air between sessions. - The beach is immaculate and right on the property, but you do have to pay to use the chairs and umbrellas. - Located right next to a few restaurants and a fantastic coffee shop - The pools were really nice, and the property itself had a lot of seating and a good happy hour CONS: - Cleanliness was an issue, as my room had sand in it and stained towels upon arrival - Noise was my biggest challenge. I had a connected room door and I could hear every word spoken in the room next to me. There was also a lot of yelling in the hallways and by the pool late at night. One night, they had an issue with the pool music blaring until 2am (apparently it was controlled by an app no one on the property had access to). It was really difficult to sleep, and I wish at a minimum ear plugs were provided as I know they receive this feedback often. - The rooms are also very bright, even with the blackout curtains All in all, you're paying to be beachfront and use the amenities such as the pool."

"Jim at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, as well as the staff. We were able to check in on time. The room was clean and all amenities in working order. The floors (carpet) maybe could use a good wash/cleaning, as it left the bottoms of our feet dirty. Or just bring house slippers. Breakfast options had variety to bagels, cereal, and waffles. This also included protein options of eggs, bacon, sausage. Outdoor pools were cleaned and maintained. You also have direct beach access from the hotel. I would highly recommend staying here if you want to lounge on the beach without the fast pace of the touristy crowd."

"This seems to be the oldest property on the strip with few amenities. The pool is tiny and you have to check out small “beach towels” if you want to use the pool or walk down to the beach. You also have to rent chairs and umbrellas on the beach."

"Beautiful view of the gulf from our balcony. We had a blast in the lazy river!! The staff was so friendly and helpful."

"First, this is more of a motel than a hotel as the rooms open to the outside. It also advertises a "private beach" but it is a very small area with a few chairs that leads to the bay (not the ocean). The actual beach is a several minute walk across a busy street. While they provide bikes, and surf boards, there are very few other ammenities. However, we thought the rooms were clean and maintenence was responsive to an issue we had. We believe the facilities to be appropriately priced for the age and condition of the property. "

"They were dredging the ocean while we were there so there was equipment and pipe everywhere, which was not disclosed before we arrived. Also, there was a 350 people event one night so we couldn’t park for 15-20 minutes driving around looking for a spot after we had paid for parking. The pools were ice cold so we went to the holiday inn where it was heated. Overall, we had a good trip but just wish we had known some of this ahead of time. "
