“We stayed for a week at Agriturismo Terrenia and would recommend it to anyone wishing to find the perfect base for exploring Sicily. The setting is absolutely wonderful with around 10 acres of grounds planted with lemon, peach, orange and cherry trees, to name but a few. We stayed in the old winery and our room, whilst very simple (as you'd expect at an agriturismo), was very comfortable and well kept. “This place was lovely, right on the slopes of mount Etna. Guiseppe and Louisa were fantastic hosts and were very friendly and helpful. Good set up of our apartment with separate living space to bedroom with lots of room. Only downside was small shower and no AC. On the day we were leaving they were quite happy for us to take our time as room was free for that day so woke up late and after sorting ourselves out we took a tour of the winery. “We loved this place. We have never stayed at an Agrituristica before so were unsure what to expect. It could not have been nicer. Everything was clean, fresh and new. And the proprietress was lovely. We went to a wine tasting first at Gambino Winery 7 minutes away which I highly recommend. This was the perfect location for that. We left in the morning for Taormina which was an easy 35 minute drive. we are a family of Americans figuring it out as we go. This part of our trip went very easily...
