The Hotel was perfect, great staff. The only area of improvement would be the restaurant. Do not waste your time dining at the hotel, you will be disappointed, instead walk to one of the restaurants in the area. It’s safe, fun and a more satisfactory experience.

The hotel is very nice and close to everything in the historic part of town. The rooms are modern and very clean. The staff were courteous and helpful. The only drawback was that I acquired bites all over and could not distinguish if they were from mosquitos or bed bugs. The staff inspected the room, changed all the linens and fumigated the room.

The property is so beautiful and unique, walking under the arches and around the fountains I felt like a medieval princess. The staff was mostly very professional, except our bellhop hung around our room and tried to sell us a tour with his friend. The restaurant was nice, but there is no included breakfast, so we ate in restaurants and coffee shops in the colonial center. It felt very safe walking around, but since it is a tourist center, the prices were pretty high. I would definitely come back here again next time I'm in Santo Domingo.
