The entrance was beautiful, and the hotel itself was lovely too. We received a warm welcome, and check-in was quick and easy. The room was fantastic—everything was spotless, everything worked perfectly, and it far exceeded our expectations. We also dined there, and the meal was exceptional. They even put on a cartoon for my daughter; they really went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay for their guests. Because we had to check out very early for our flight, we couldn't have breakfast at the usual time, but they took the initiative to bring us breakfast later that evening instead. In short, this hotel certainly deserves five stars; it was a wonderful experience featuring top-notch service and very clean, well-kept rooms.

Excelente servicio. Espero regresar pronto!!!

Hotel Anselmo was a wonderful stay, and the absolute highlight was the incredible care and attention from the staff. They truly went above and beyond—from welcoming us with a complimentary drink (and even offering free refills) to making sure every detail of our stay was perfect. When we mentioned our early morning flight and that we’d miss breakfast, they immediately offered to prepare one for us. The chef even came out to ask what we would like, creating a personalized breakfast tailored to our preferences. Beyond the exceptional service, the hotel itself is beautiful, with a stylish design and a relaxing atmosphere. The large pool is perfect for unwinding, everything is spotless and well-maintained, and the restaurant is also very nice. Overall, a fantastic stay made truly unforgettable by the outstanding staff.

별로예요: 직원 및 서비스, 편의 시설/서비스, 숙박 시설 상태 및 시설
The room was clean and housekeeping did a good job, and special thanks to Jose and Ana from the evening team. However, the overall stay was very disappointing. My room was located at the back of the hotel and required stairs with heavy luggage. The key-card/door issue was serious enough that at one point I felt trapped in the room, and I was given physical keys instead of the issue being properly resolved. I was promised another room, but that never happened.I also experienced repeated hot-water problems, often waiting about 10 minutes and sometimes having to take cold showers. Despite several complaints, the issue was not resolved. I requested to speak with a manager about an early checkout or another solution, but no manager came to speak with me.There was also confusion about the pool hours, resulting in my guests being asked to leave by security. Because it was late, I had to arrange another hotel for them. I ultimately left and booked another hotel at my own expense.Overall, while the room was clean and some staff were helpful, the unresolved problems and lack of management response made the stay extremely frustrating. Based on my experience, I would not return or recommend this hotel.

We stayed for one night and overall had a very good experience. The staff was friendly, and both dinner and the breakfast the next morning were à la carte, which was a nice touch. The food was absolutely delicious, and the chef did an excellent job. The only issue we experienced was with the electricity. During the first hour or so, the power went out about 6 to 8 times. Fortunately, after around midnight, we don't remember it happening again. The room had a mini-split air conditioner, so every time the power went out, the A/C shut off. The room would get warm, and it took a while to cool back down each time. It wasn't until around 5:00 a.m. that the room finally became cool enough for us to get a good rest. That said, we're from Puerto Rico, where occasional power outages can also happen, so while it was inconvenient, it wasn't a major issue for us. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially the excellent food and hospitality.
