Molto consigliato
Abbiamo soggiornato per due notti in un appartamento con angolo cottura, all’estremo opposto del borgo rispetto alla reception. Il personale ci ha aiutato a trasportare le valigie per i pochi metri di distanza dal parcheggio, comodo e facile da raggiungere. In camera a nostra disposizione frigorifero pieno di prodotti: frutta, yogurt, affettati, formaggio, frutta, succhi, ecc. selezione di caffè Nespresso, tisane, biscotti e prodotti locali per la colazione in quantità eccezionale. Alloggio su due piani, camera comoda, bagno un po’ piccolo ma sufficiente. Unica pecca, qualche ragnatela sfuggita alle pulizie. Ci si trova nel mezzo del borgo a due passi da tutte le attività necessarie. Da visitare assolutamente la Rocca di Calascio a pochi minuti di auto, e Campo Imperatore, lievemente più distante ma assolutamente imperdibile.

La nostra esperienza è stata più che positiva, la struttura è molto bella in un contesto suggestivo, lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile. La colazione è abbondante è offerta con prodotti tipici e artigianali.

Claudia and her father have done a terrific job building this accommodation. They are so friendly and passionate about the history of such a amazing place. It is a 10 star experience not to be missed. Great Dinings as well! One of our best experiences ever!!

This place was exactly what I wanted after traveling for a few weeks in some busier areas. I wanted open space, no crowds (I was here mid week), and a small apartment where I could spend time reading, doing some work, and preparing my own meals. The fresh mountain air is what I needed. The staff was amazing, and I was so happy to find basics like fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, milk, cheese, meat stocked already. There is also a small store where I purchased fresh eggs. On top of all of this, they did my laundry for me. Amazing service. everything I needed and nothing I didn't. (which, was kind of the opposite experience at some of the 5 star places I had stayed just prior).

Gentile Marco Ennio, le sono state assegnate le stanze che aveva prenotato, se ben ricorda all'arrivo abbiamo chiesto maggiori informazioni in merito alla sistemazione dal momento che ci era sembrato di capire che fossero tutte coppie e lei ci ha confermato di procedere all'assegnazione degli alloggi così come erano stati prenotati, indicandoci che quello in cui soggiornava la bimba sarebbe arrivato dopo rispetto agli altri ospiti. Probabilmente se al momento della prenotazione oppure nei giorni precedenti il check-in oppure anche nel momento stesso del check-in ci avesse esternato le sue necessità, conoscendo perfettamente i nostri alloggi, le avremmo potuto suggerire l'assegnazione più confacente alle sua esigenze. Delizioso appartamento nel paesino. Gentilissimo lo staff che ci ha prenotato la cena in un’osteria nei pressi visto che stavamo tardando ad arrivare. Ottima posizione per visitare il Gran Sasso e tutta la zona.

We recently stayed at the Residenza La Torre and we absolutely enjoyed it. Set in the mountains, the town was a quiet paradise with views we could wake up to every morning. The Hotel staff was great and was indispensable when it came to things to do and places to see. The local towns people were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely return to this hotel.

l'appunto riguarda la colazione. avevo prenotato con expedia tramite trivago sul sito expedia era riportata colazione inclusa ma all'arrivo abbiamo scoperto che la colazione invece non era compresa ( strano perché era proprio dettagliato chiaramente ). comunque per noi non era questione di prezzo, abbiamo chiesto di poter avere la colazione integrando quanto necessario ma la risposta è stata che non era possibile perché l'organizzazione della struttura non lo permetteva !!!! solo informati con largo anticipo avrebbero potuto fare questo. il che ha significato cercare e rimediare qualcosa negli scarni punti vendita presenti. peccato perdersi per così poco

Amazing, storybook exprience
The hilltop town is an intact, small medieval village, with most of the businesses, restaurants, hotels (including the Residenza) and apartments being contained within larger fortress-like structures; all connected by charming passageways and tunnels.

Great place to stay in a hill top town
A lovely hotel in a beautiful hill top town. Very atmospheric town with beautiful narrow streets and medival street patterns. The hotel has a series of apartments with a lot of character spread around the town. All very well equipped and as the town is small very close to the beautiful squares and restaurants. Very good attention from the staff. Defiantly a lovely place to stay.

Great place for a weekend getaway!
We had an amazing stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful! They pointed us a to a great family run restaurant for dinner. The room was spacious and clean. We hope we will be able to make a trip back!

Underbar vandring i Abruzzerna
Santo Stefano di Sessanio är en charmig liten medeltida by/stad på 1400 meters höjd med fantastisk utsikt och många olika typer av boenden för besökare. Vårt rum på Residenza la Torre var ett mysigt boende i 2 plan med eget kök i bottenplan och sovrum med en svit bad på övre plan. Frukosten fick man laga själv, men yoghurt,müsli,mjölk,kaffe och massor med söta kakor fanns för oss i skåpen. Enligt infon på Hotels.com skulle det ingå daglig städning, flaskvatten och finnas skrivbord på rummet. Det gjorde det inte och var väl helt ok, men hade vart bättre med rätt information. Det skulle också gå att elda i eldstaden men den fungerade inte pga av häftiga regn. Det fanns centralvärme, så bara golvet på bottenvåningen var kallt. Tofflor hade vart trevligt.

- großes,sauberes, landestypisch-eingerichtetes Appartement mit separatem Schlafzimer; SAT-TV und WLAN kostenlos; da alle Appartements und Zimmer im autofreien, sehr idyllischen Dorf verteilt sind, hat man sein komplettes Frühstück im Kühlschrank, bzw. auf der Anrichte - gute Lösung; kostenloser Parkplatz ca. 100m entfernt; Rezeption ist täglich besetzt, sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, auch mehrsprachig.

Close to Heaven
We found this to be a perfect vacation spot as we prefer breathtaking scenery and historical charm to the fast pace and high costs associated with the major Italian destinations. Our Lodging was actually a 3-bedroom apt. with full kitchen stocked with all the necessities for cooking, although the village has a few family run restaurants (including one with very good food) so we only enjoyed breakfast at out home away from home. And we really enjoyed our breakfasts as along with coffee and teas the refrigerator was stocked with milk and yogurt and the table was spread with baskets of pastries and cereals, along with a freshly baked cake. Our thoughtful host, Claudia, had thought of everything and even loaned us a regional guide to supplement the maps she printed out for us. Can't wait to return for another perfect respite.

A great stay
we stayed there one night. though it was quite a detour it was totally worth it. its actually an apartment with a bed room and a kitchen. We arrived after a very long day and this great room was exactly what we needed. There is no breakfast room so all the breakfast ingredients are waiting in the room when you check in. It allows you to enjoy coffee, fruits, tee Croissant etc (very generously if I might say) in the evening of your arrival.

Sistemazione particolare ed incantevole
Ho scelto questo paese come punto di partenza per vari trekking fotografici. "La Torre" è un albergo diffuso e quindi la reception e le "camere" sono dislocate nelle viuzze del bel borgo. In realta non sono "camere" ma delle porzioni di case ristrutturate con cura: uso di cucina con tutto quello che occorre, pulizia accurata. La colazione si fa nella propria "unità abitativa" e non manca veramente nulla: dallo yogurt fresco alla pasticceria locale, macchina del caffè, bollitore per il the... ottimo! Wifi gratuito. Gentilissima e disponibile Claudia che si occupa della reception e della gestione dei clienti.

Medieval charm with modern comforts
The beautifully-renovated "Laura" flat of this extended hotel retains the charming medieval character of the fairy-tale village of Santo Steffano di Sessanio. It was meticulously clean, had a comfortable bed (with good pillows), a very nice bathroom, and a reliable Wi-Fi connection. The flat boasted a nicely-equipped kitchen with a multitude of continental breakfast items including local artisanal baked goods. Proprietor Claudia was the most gracious of hosts, getting us situated and even making us reservations in a wonderful nearby restaurant featuring many Abruzzan specialties. This is an ideal place to stay to experience the beauty, history, and outstanding hospitality of the mountains of Abruzzo. Our only regret was that we had not booked a longer stay.
