We have been staying at the Astron Garden Special for around 20 years. In this recent stay we found that while the staff continues to be great and very helpful, there were things broken in the two rooms we had (window handles, soap dishes, furniture, etc). While at one point in time this was a boutique hotel, it is now past its prime and in need of a major upgrade. One person in our party now uses a wheelchair to get around and the rooms are not wheelchair friendly in that there is a step between the entryway and the rest of the apartment, and the space in the bathroom is very limited. Another item of concern is that there is a small kitchen but no smoke detectors in the kitchen or in the apartment. The phones no longer dial out because “all guests have cellphones” but we could not dial some numbers from our US cellphone while roaming, so this was a major drawback as we need to contact the airline to change our flights.

Para quem quer ficar ao lado do Hospital das Clinicas/incor , jardins e avenida Paulista sem ser exigente esta é a opção. Acomodação bem simples mas é um flat com cozinha. Não cheguei a usar nada e não sei se esta tudo funcionando. Café da manhã simples porém bom e tem comida por kilo no almoço todos os dias. se vc tem alguém internado no incor e precisa ficar muitos dias a conta não ficará tão salgada como se hospedar em um hotel mais requintado. Já vá preparado para uma acomodação simples.

Localização, comodidade e atendimento

O colchão em molas não era confortável por ser muito macio. O ar condicionado de janela, era bem barulhento e com uma abertura em suas laterais, permitindo a entrada dos raios solares desde as primeiras horas do dia. A porta do quarto que dá acesso à varanda, não trancava. O sofá tinha um tecido escuro dando uma impressão de sujeira. Fiquei hospedado no 4° andar em um quarto de frente para a rua e o barulho vindo dos veiculos que transitavam na av. Rebouças, incomodou-me a noite inteira. O café da manhã era variado com sucos, leite, chás, frutas, e outros alimentos sólidos. A recepção foi bem atenciosa e dedicada ao cliente. A localização é excelente, exceto no que diz respeito à sua aproximidade com a avenida Rebouças. A iluminação do quarto era excelente. O frigobar era novo. O fogão e a pia em ótimas condições de uso e estavam bem limpos. Recebemos o quarto muito limpo e com as toalhas organizadas. A água do chuveiro estava com uma ótima temperatura. A porta do banheiro estava empenada, não sendo possível trancá-la. Não foi permitido parcelar as diárias.
