"The staff was nice and it wasn’t their fault I had a bad experience, but I wish they would’ve offered me a discount on my stay given the circumstances. When I arrived, the room smelled like bug spray. I went to the beach hoping it would be better when I came back but it wasn’t. It finally became too unbearable so just before midnight I packed my stuff and went to the front desk. The lady was nice and offered to show me a few rooms. I chose the second one because it was less smelly, but I barely slept because I was sketched out and because it was so incredibly cold. AC said 73 and even 75 at one point but it was much colder. Better than being hot I guess but not great. The second woman I met when I left told me she’d mark my account for the best rate possible for my next stay but I don’t think I’ll be back. One and done for me… it’s sad because it could be a cute place if it had a top to bottom remodel."

"My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. Upon arrival, guests were required to use an alternate entrance because the main entrance was under repair. We barely got a welcome from the front desk and the front desk manager seemed like he was having a bad day. While the lobby appeared clean and inviting, the rest of the property was a different story. Once in the room, it was clear the hotel is in serious need of renovation. There were visible cracks in the walls, the shower had very poor water pressure, and the toilet frequently splashed water back when flushed. The room also lacked proper blackout curtains, making it difficult to sleep due to the amount of light coming in. The room itself showed significant wear and tear, and the overall condition of the hotel felt run-down. The pool appeared outdated and heavily treated with chemicals. After swimming, my black bathing suit noticeably faded, and it still retained a strong chemical smell even after being washed. The view from the room overlooked a neglected parking lot, and there was virtually no soundproofing. Despite staying on the top floor, I could hear traffic and passing vehicles throughout my stay. The exterior of the property was also poorly maintained, with visible clutter around the grounds. Most disappointing of all, the hotel's online photos do not accurately reflect its current condition. Based on my experience, I do not feel this property offers good value, and I would not choose to stay here again."

"Overall it was a good option and would go back. A few things to note. If you’re in a low floor in the Palm Tower you can use the stairs. Elevator services rooms, restaurant and car park and takes forever to arrive. No recycling whatsoever. And no concern of staff “just throw the plastic bottles in the garbage”. They leave 6 new bottles in your room every day and despite the efforts to protect the waterways, mangroves, sea life all around. The hotel is not on board with sustainability practices, One girl at front desk quite rude. Everyone else lovely. Music too loud at tiki bar!"
