“New Aegli is my favorite place to stay on Poros island. It is a quick 1 hour trip on the ferry from Athens. In September, the Askeli beach is perfect for swimming—the water is warm, and I usually do a 1500 meter swim every day that I’m at New Aegli. The restaurant food is great — I always sign up for daily breakfast. Great food selection, delicious. And I generally have dinner there too!”
