"I was supposed to meet a family member here, but their flight was canceled and could no longer meet me here in Japan. I needed to cancel this reservation because of this disappointing turn of events. I messaged the hotel staff during the window of time necessary to cancel without late-cancellation fees, however the staff did not respond to me until after that window had passed, and would not budge on their policy of charging me for the entire stay. "We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the hotel was very convenient. It was a very short distance from the Hakata Eki (train station) and subway access with lots of food and shopping options. The room itself was nice and clean. We got a triple room with a standard queen size bed and the sofa turned into a twin bed but there was still enough room to place a large open suitcase on the floor. The beds were comfortable. There were also self laundry facilities and vending machines on three of the floors. Complimentary coffee, tea and juices were offered from 3p to 5:30p daily at its restaurant around the corner from the lobby."

The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The location was also perfect, with convenient access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and transportation. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

While we didn't use it, the on-site onsen seemed very popular (note, no tattoos). The laundry facilities were easily accessed and worked well.
