“We arrived to no one around and after walking around the property finally saw an envelope with our name on it and our key. Our room smelt moldy and damp. The carpet was dirty and the walls were peeling. The beds were very uncomfortable. It was shocking to see after such a high rating. “We had a wonderful stay at Hideaway Escapes. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. “Very nice host who made us very welcome. The room (11)was on the top floor so quite a few stairs to climb , it had ample space and plenty of electric sockets.The bed was very comfortable (however the seagulls kept us awake sometimes with their squawking in the early hours) A good selection of breakfast was brought up in a hamper by the owners which was a great start for the day. Good location for carpark and town . Would definitely stay again in one of the lower floors hopefully .”
