“This hotel does not match the description. It is the shabbiest building that I saw on the Promenade. Is not expensive, but that shouldn't be used as an excuse for how dirty and poorly maintained it was. In my room there was damp on the ceiling from an old leak, and mould and fungus growth was well established, so it hasn't just happened. The wardrobe door was falling off, there were homes in the walls, and the carpet was grubby. Not a pleasant experience at all!”

“Drinks are very expensive from the bar and the bed needed to be upgraded as it was very hard and uncomfortable. ”

“I did not get use of the room as the hotel was locked up despite calling and leaving messages there was no reply . I had the inconvenience of having to travel 12 miles to find another hotel .”

“Great little spot, really welcoming. Beer on arrival! We were there for the cricket at the Oval - literally a 10-15 minute walk away. Great pub to watch live sport too!”

“The hotel is clean staff were good but the whole place could do with a refurb- tiles were up in the bathroom - table that the coffee machine sits is falling apart- no kettle and parking yes is tandem and if you are leaving early you have to wait for someone to ring whoever is blocking you in”
