“Lovely character hotel with a terrific swimming pool”

“Such a quaint old Welsh building in a lovely rural setting just outside of the market town of Ruthin (it is in the middle of a static caravan park but a very pleasant one). A great location for exploring the many places to see around the area . Rooms are of a good size and well equipped. Restaurant menu was limited but is being updated and the prices were reasonable, as was the bar. Breakfast was enough to keep you going for the day. Never got to use the pool but looked inviting. “A Gem of a place to stay, so quiet your own heartbeat will keep you awake, and a view of the landscape to adore. Breakfast is good, basic amenities (Cereal, Toast, Yogurts, etc) with cooked to order items and freshly cooked pastries was a nice touch. Lovely staff, friendly, attentive, and informative on the food locality. Dinner platters, fondue, and on-site bar a wonderful choice for a long day hiking when you're to tired to go out again.”
