“Dining room ok .our bedroom terrible filthy carpet.loose wallpaper ceiling was patched Complained to reception got another room which was better but would be no good for a weeks stay. No drawers, big bench like thing to close to bed, curtains had obviously been taken from a downstairs room as they were hanging with at least 1metre on the floor. very dissatisfied and would not go there again overpriced”

“Room was ok requested duluxe but got double, bath was dirty , room had a huge hole in the wall, breakfast was a disaster requested coffee brought tea, they took it back and never returned Says free WiFi but had no WiFi at all Lift was broken”

“Lovely place to stay within a stones throw of the centre shops. Lovely trip down to the river dee where you can take a river cruise and some lovely bars to enjoy a nice cold lager.”

“The room was clean, however, the carpet was stained, and the chair was stained also. The room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The shower had really good pressure and hot water. The breakfast was good also.What, this hotel needs his an ejection of venture-capital. It is a beautiful hotel that would benefit from a few upgrades. The staff were helpful warm and friendly.”

“The room was functional but definitely not spacious. The shower extractor fan was not working, which the cleaning staff were clearly very aware of but no repair, causing the whole room to steam up badly. There were NO 120/240volt 2 pin shaver/toothbrush plug sockets anywhere, only USB, poor. We could see a nice quiet garden from our window but prohibited from using it, being reserved for sauna guests. On our first night one of our guests starters didn't arrive until most others had finished...

“The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that the drinking glasses in the room hadn’t been changed - they were dirty from the previous people staying there and I had to go and get them changed.”

“Hotel in an excellent position, close to both the beach and town centre. Staff were very helpful at check in and so were the cleaning crew. There is no parking attached to the hotel but it can be found easily enough. Room had a sea view which was lovely, however it could do with a little redecoration. Good stay though.”

“Extremely disappointed, ruined what was meant to be a special event for my mother 90 years old. The room was in choking state of poor cleanliness. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling, walls , sink and even on the Courtain and the balcony area. It felt unhygienic and uncomfortable to be in. The breakfast was terrible, completely greasy and unappealing. For a place that should be like a treat, this place ruined my special special occasion for my mother 90 years old I have taken photos of...

“We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation. The hosts were very accommodating of our dietary requirements, which was greatly appreciated. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with air conditioning and very comfortable beds. Everything was well maintained and cleaned to a high standard throughout our stay. The location was fantastic, with easy access to local amenities, the pier and lovely walks. It’s also only around 5 minutes from a beautiful sandy beach....

“DON'T GO THERE. If I could give 0 stars I would. This place shouldn't even exist, the place feels very unsafe (there were drunk people in the "lobby" and no one at the reception and they started straight away talking to us in a manner that did not make us feel welcomed nor safe). Then the receptionist told us that because they had over booked they were going to give us a twin instead of a double, as if that was our fault. The lock room did not work and I had to move the bedside table at the door...
