“A delightful and unique bnb. Lovely hosts and an excellent breakfast. Our room was very comfortable and well presented, All good.”

“The place was lovely and clean, unfortunatly we could not get the TV to work or the fire to light, we messaged the owners but not had any reply. Came home a day early as the smoke detectors started beeping, messaged about that too. The location is great and the beds fab and when these small annoyanced are corrected it very good. ”

The rooms and areas were a bit tired looking and worn, for example the towels were scraggy, there was no where to hang a towel in the bathroom, the lock on the bathroom door was dodgy, but the hotel staff in all areas from reception to the spa and the bistro were extremely friendly and professional. The pool area with the steam room and sauna although a little worn down was a nice welcome after a hike. The bistro evening menu, food and breakfast were all of a high...

“Really nice room. Cosy bar and restaurant. The Four out of five for the staff because they sat around us chatting whilst we were having breakfast. It felt a little like we were in the way of their conversation. Dined here on two evenings and one breakfast. Very good meals apart from a massively overpriced “cauliflower steak” - ordered out of curiosity but I should have asked first. It was just a roasted head of cauliflower… and not that big a one, either, but the price didn’t reflect...
