“Love the room we stayed in, good space , bathroom was great big bath with TV, good shower aswell, bed comfortable, view over canal was nice, had breakfast lovely, spa was a 2 min walk, garden was nice, overall excellent ”

“기차 연착으로 자정이 넘어 도착. 피곤에 쩐 상태라 역 바로 앞에 위치한 호텔이 정말 반가웠음. 대도시처럼 어수선한 동네는 아니지만, 대로변이고 방음이 잘 안되어서 아침에 차 지나다니는 소리에 깸. 로비 공사 중이라 리셉션 데스크 운영도 복잡했지만 스탭들이 대체로 친절해서 편히 지냄. 이용한 방은 몹시 넓었고 오래된 호텔이라 시설은 딱히 언급할건 없음. 조식도 맛나고 - 깔아둔 것만 먹는게 아니라 메뉴 추가 주문 - 1층 바의 생맥주 셀렉션이 괜춘함. ”

“It is a very old hotel , and I expected lots of creakiness but it was fine , a really interesting building in the town centre with a car park . The only downside was the lack of breakfast ( no food available at all ) but it is surrounded by food outlets and pubs”

“Brilliant stay, staff accommodation. Breakfast not very organised, no cups, milk etc. Nothing topped up or checked regularly. We had to keep asking for things but staff didn't acknowledge with a smile would just walk off and get what was needed. Not what you expect from a hotel of this standard. Overall would stay again but unsure if we would book breakfast! ”

“Very good value! Large room in historic pub. Building is full of character with wonky beams and creaky floor boards, and our room had an incredible four poster bed. Everything was clean and linens were all good quality. Bathroom could use some minor retouching but was perfectly acceptable. We stayed in the peak of summer (30 degree days) and did find it was very hot and there was no fan in the room. Trade off between having the windows open to help cool off which also let in a fair amount of...

“The staff were friendly and welcoming, our rooms were big and clean. The bar stays open till 12 which was good for us as had a long afternoon traveling. The usual hot and cold food for breakfast. The sausages are very tasty and there is gluten free bread and cereal which is nice to see. The mattress was a bit too hard for me but all in all a very nice overnight stay. We would definitely visit again. Thank you guys for being so nice and friendly. ”

“Breakfast was lovely and room was spacious, but difficult to cool on a hot summer day, aircon available but restricted to set low at 16C but couldnt reach near this. Shower was tempermental on getting right temperature, cold on second morning. Staff friendly.”

“We only stayed the one night as a stopover. The welcome from Summer on reception was cheerful and helpful, despite being late in the day. After a long journey the Welsh cakes were a nice treat. The bar was comfortable, but the furniture needs a clean. The menu was varied and the food freshly prepared. The bar staff were friendly and professional. Plenty of parking and quiet area.”

“Hotel situated in a good place everything in walking distance, hotel clean and tidy, parking in hotel only enough for 4 vehicles, parking outside hotel but taken up quickly. WIFI good enough for work emails, staff very helpful and polite, Breakfast good, room very spacious and clean but bed a bit hard and noisy seagulls all night which will the same for every hotel in area. I would stop again if in area. ”
