“Generally the rooms are to a high standard. The breakfasts are excellent, and the staff really friendly. Easy car parking. Only quibble is that we tried to book another 2 day stay, the system didn’t allow this - wanted 3 or more: this may vary with time of year.”

“Welcoming at reception and told about where things were very helpful and understanding Ron was clean and bright with out look onto canal my only niggle was WiFi in room not the best but great at reception and could not tv to work radio through tv ok but wanted to watch a bit of telly overall great place to stop food food and lot of welcoming staff”

Excellent breakfasts, best we've had in a long while. The only issue we had was coming in at night after the event we had gone to see. the floors are so very creaky & even though we tried our best to be quiet for other guests they still made loads of noise!”

“The staff are a mix of fabulous and awful - some were so helpful and efficient and could not do enough but others were rather rude and snappy. The whole place needs a bit of TLC - wonderful beautiful building with some fabulous public rooms, statues and artwork but needs a good clean for example cobwebs and dust everywhere, chipped and peeling paint. The outside area is filthy - get a jetwash and clean it down - cushions on outside furniture yuck. The outside area in the second building...

Also breakfast was a bit of a let down,the size of my husband's full Welsh breakfast was smaller the 2nd morning,loads of mushrooms,2 halves of tomatoe on 2nd breakfast about 4 bits of mushrooms and 1 halves of tomato”

“11pm late check in staff left a key in a safe which was great but when we got to the room the door was actually ajar which is worrying when the rooms are accessed from outside and the car park is a car charging area with random people turning up all night. On the face of it clean and modern but very quickly you ca see the neglect. Bathroom very mouldy, broken internal window pane with sharp glass uncovered. The room was a first floor room accessed from a walkway to all the first floor rooms and...

“What a lovely clean spacious apartment. Great location. So close to shops, restaurants and attractions, etc.Having a tesco express opposite of needed. Easy check in. And nice and quiet apartment block.”
