“The room was big with a well stocked tea tray. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good with a buffet style hot selection at the weekend and made to order hot choices weekday. The staff were welcoming and friendly.”

“Beautiful hotel in areas but if you’re planning to stay here with a baby or you are a wheelchair user I’d maybe think again! This hotel is not accessible at all, it’s quite old so has narrow corridors, lots of heavy doors that are shut between corridors & we were put in a room that had no lift access & was at top of a narrow steep staircase - it was completely impossible to get to with a baby & pram! We had to ask to change rooms and the staff on reception weren’t apologetic or friendly at all!...

“We loved the hotel and the room.The staff were all very friendly.The room was kept very clean and the bed got made each day.The shower was clean and very good. The breakfast was very good and it was free. This was our 4th time we have stayed there.You could also help yourself to a free hot drink from the machine after we came back from walking each day.We stayed 4 nights like we always do.We just love it.Thank you to everyone there for making our stay so enjoyable.”

“Very polite and helpful staff very clean and tidy general areas and the rooms were immaculate some furniture looked a little dated but certainly were not damaged in any way and still very servicable I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.”
