"It’s a very nice resort with excellent restaurants and a nice beach. The resort is not as big so it’s very easy to cover all distances around the resort. Most cleaners don’t speak English but they find ways to communicate. The waiters at the restaurants are particularly courteous and very helpful. The great thing about this resort is that you have access to the amenities at the parent resort next door so you get 2-for-1 of everything in terms of amenities. At all the bars I noticed a thin veil of preferential treatment of guests who are Caucasians vs guests who are minorities a couple of times. The bartended tend to be warm to the Caucasian guests and simply just served the minorities with no interactions.. just a training issue the management should address but I didn’t see that anywhere else"

"This was our third stay at the RIU Palace Aruba. Each stay is better than the last. The property has had countless upgrades since our last stay. We love the property, the staff, the amenities and the beach. We also love how close the RIU is to downtown Noord. It's a safe, two minute walk to shopping, restaurants and entertainment. We stayed at a different resort last year due to the remodel at the RIU Palace, but were grateful to be back at the RIU Palace this year."
