Good practical hotel

Though a bit dated, this hotel is well maintained and practical. Hotel overall and rooms are kept is good working order and clean. The staff is friendly and professional. Restaurants are nice, especially the old one. One of the best things with this hotel is the location. Especially in summer, the location is beautiful and a nice short walk to center of Savonlinna.

Muuten ihan kiva, mutta spa ei ollut käytössä (joku anturirikko, joka esti altaiden käytön). Siinä mielessä harmi, kun valittiin hotelli juurikin span vuoksi. Kotimaiset tv kanavat olivat pemeinä jonkun kidemuutoksen vuoksi. Sellainen reissu.

SPA-hotel aus den 70igern

Das Hotel hätte eine Generalüberholung mehr als nötig, stammt noch aus den 70er Jahren, dementsprechend waren die Stühle im Essbereich verdreckt und der Stoff abgenutzt. Das Frühstücksbuffet war 8:40 Uhr schon leergeräumt!!!!

Perushotelli, upea sijainti

Spahotelli Casinon paras puoli on sen sijainti. Uimalaituri on kätevästi lähellä ja uimaan voi siksi pulahtaa kätevästi. Hotelli on myös lähellä juna-asemaa ja toria. Olavinlinnalle on viehättävä kävelymatka rantoja pitkin. Luontopolkuja löytyy lähisaarilta. Yövyimme oopperajuhlien aikaan. Varasimme superior -huoneen järvinäköalalla. Hinta oli 742 euroa kahdelta yöltä. Järvinäköala oli kuitenkin vain osittainen, koska pääosin näköalana oli vaahtera- ja leppävesaikko. Kannattaisi siis markkinoida huonetta osittaisella näköalalla. Saimme vaihdettua huoneemme, jolloin näkymät paranivat kuvien kaltaisiksi. Huoneen siivous jätti toivomisen varaa, koska melko keskeisestä kohdasta löytyi vielä pölypallero. Toinen kylpytakeista oli revennyt taskun kohdalta. Terassin toinen tuoli oli rikki, mutta se vaihdettiin nopeasti pyynnöstä. Huolimattomuuksia, joita ei tällä hintatasolla odottaisi. Muutenkaan huone ei tuonut superior-vaikutelmaa, mutta oli mukava standard- huone. Aamiainen oli tavanomainen, savumuikut plussaa. Palaisin silti tähän hotelliin juuri sen erinomaisen ihanan sijainnin vuoksi.

Die Lage ist super praktisch, und die unmittelbare Umgebung sehr schön. -Die Standardzimmer sind ok, aber wirklich klein und überhaupt nicht zeitgemäß. Hätte ich das gewußt, hätte ich ein Superiorzimmer genommen. Diesen reichen von Größe und Standard an mitteleuropäische Standards heran.
