Room, a good size and couch to sit and watch TV. Only problem was room was on side of main road and difficult to sleep in noise. Also bathroom sink tap not functioning properly. First night I could not open the tap to wash my hands or fill kettle for a cup of tea, had to use the shower. Second night took time to switch off tap. Rang bell to get assistance but no one came so communication poor. Overall not very happy that basic need like tap water was not easily available.

Ok, but wouldn't stay again

Check in was easy, shown to our room by the gentleman. First impressions were fine! We went out straight away to get some food even though we could have eaten in. On returning to chill out for the evening, I was ashamed at the state of the bathroom. The grout in the shower was orange and there was black mould on the silicone. There was also dried toothpaste on the window sill for a previous guest. The gentleman did come to clean the bathroom for us to use and was very apologetic. I felt uncomfortable after mentioning my issues.

Staff are very friendly and willing to go out of there way to help you have a good stat bedding was clean but could clean more on other parts of room and the shower wouldn’t stay up had to keep pushing it back up.

Pleasant enough surroundings but lacked any warmth ok for a short stay , but as we asked for breakfast at 08:30 and turned up 08:00 to be immediately informed it won’t be ready til 08:30! No reason no one else in the dining room no pressure on the service! An offer a of a cup of tea whilst waiting would’ve helped. Pleasant enough family room , parking available and well situated for Peasholm park and North Bay amenities. I have stayed in Scarborough many times previously and found this to be not the best B&B I’ve stayed in but definitely not the worst

friendly helpful staff. parking was a bit tricky but room was clean and comfortable. close to the peasholm park which is definitely worth a visit

Nice B&B

This was a nice B&B. A Typical seaside B&B in the UK. Owner was very friendly and the breakfast which I had once was very good. I had a single ensuite room which was pretty tight with not much room but again this is typical for the UK. The shower was good but hardly enough room to move around in. Overall I had an enjoyable stay but i was only there for sleeping purposes, I did not spend much time there. For the price I would recommend.

Nice Comfortable Place

Went to Scarborough for a 5 day break and this little place was just right - not too far from the town centre but in a fairly quiet area so sleeping at night was not disturbed at all. On a slight incline and a steep slope up to the entrance so be warned if you are of reduced mobility. The hosts were very friendly and accomodating.

Short visit for the cricket

Two nights stay B & B for the cricket - which is only a couple of blocks away; the hotel generally was fine, but for the price, having to pay extra for breakfast seemed a little excessive. Car parking was free, but very tight and we had to park elsewhere on our last day to make room for incoming guests. We would consider staying again, but would look elsewhere first

cheap bed

booked 2 single rooms and got what we paid for. rooms were clean but faded wouldn't want to take the wife but it was ok for somewhere cheap to bunk down for the night

overnight stay

We only stayed for one night. The room was of a decent standard although the ensuite would benefit from a little bit of attention. Staff were friendly and eager to meet our needs. Breakfast, which consisted of cereal followed by a full english, was very nice. All in all an adequate room at a fair price.
