"Excellent central place to stay which exudes opulence. The staff will literally offer to help you in any way possible.
Rooms are extremely spacious, clean, and well looked after. The beds are also extremely comfy. You can see why it has a five star rating.
However there are two major elements that let the hotel down. One is the ridiculously high $200 a night Security Deposit. The biggest bugbear however would be the extremely cramped and very basic bathrooms in the rooms themselves. While the rooms are decadent and scream 5 star luxury, the bathrooms would struggle to reach 3 star status, and of all the hotel chains I have stayed in, even the likes of Premier Inn and Travelodge offer better bathroom facilities.
In conclusion go for the history, the luxury, the staff, the location, but avoid if you want that luxury to extend to the bathroom.
For us, the pros far far outweigh the cons"
