"I paid the full amount through Hotels.com and only paid the city tax locally, but an additional charge of about 100 euros was deducted from my account using the card. The front desk staff claimed there was no additional charge and told me to resolve the issue by sending an email, stating they could not do anything to help. Although I eventually received a cancellation of the charge, there was no explanation or apology whatsoever. If you want to have the worst experience of having money withdrawn from your account without permission while abroad, I recommend this hotel."
