"Although the host is helpful and accommodated my early check in request. The apartment didn’t had a control for the AC and if there was any we didn’t feel it and the apartment was hot. The parking was shared and the other guest waked us up at 6:30 am so we could move the car. The apartment floors had a type of oily substance that smelled like dog pee/chemical/old sweat (could tell the difference) and was dangerous with my slippers-I slide twice. "Ok, my opinion is swayed as this was my first time back in my home town for 30 years. But despite that biased opinion, reception was quick, fuss free and professional. Room was clean, very functional I'd say. (Polite way of saying not a lot there) But clean and comfortable. I guess we're used to tea and coffee facilities in the uk. Food and beer we're great, some staff spoken english but once I bust out the German they really opened up! Superb grounds to wander about in of an evening too. Breakfast was just like and other euro breakfast, no issues. Didnt use the pool so can't comment. Plan on returning"

"The hotel itself was excellent, the room was very comfortable and clean. The bar and restaurant were also very good. Downside was the extortionate price they charge for one nights parking in the underground car park. 28 Euros for less than 24 hours parking is really taking a liberty. Took the shine of what was otherwise a great stay."

"My family and I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they made us feel right at home. The rooms were on the smaller side, but that’s quite typical for Europe and they had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!"

"The hotel was modern with small but clean rooms and a good location. Bathroom setup with tub & separate shower plus additional toilet room was nice, but with the sofa bed made, there wasn't anywhere to leave our luggage. The kids play area in the lobby, kids' check gift & a large breakfast buffet was very nice extra for the kids. The bar was opened late for the world cup game, which Germany won - definitely a great way to end the day."
