"We stayed with our 2 grandkids ages 6 &7. The breakfast was good and the kids loved the pool. We made sure that the kids behaved and didn’t slash or be loud if others were in the pool area. We don’t get to spend time in the Spa area but it definitely looked great. We walked to a local bakery for a snack after swimming, and grabbed other essentials from Aldi right down the street. Definitely would recommend and stay here again. The room size was spacious. "

"Everything was wonderful except the parking, the area designated for the hotel parking was full of locals, and no enforcement. However, I highly recommend this hotel, very clean, friendly staff, fantastic breakfast. "

"Perfect place to stay in Weiden. I was able to walk to restaurants, stores and go for a long walk. The room had AC which was a plus during the hot summer season. I appreciate the the fact that it had a cosmetic mirror. Smell things in life that makes your stay. The staff was friendly. Would stay there again. "

"Really nice friendly staff in a historic building. The WiFi was reliable and the bathroom was nicely appointed. The shower was a glass cubicle in the room due to the constraints of the old building. It's pretty echoey in there (again because of the old building) and the floor in the room is wooden floorboards with gaps in them big enough to lose a ring down, so maybe don't bring your favourite jewellery! It was very squeaky to walk around. In addition, there was no bedside table which was a shame, instead some ugly metal lockers which presumably were meant to fit the jail "theme". Overall it was fine and well worth staying if you are fascinated with the history, perhaps if you prefer comfort and quiet, you should choose a more modern hotel! "
