Hôtel au calme à proximité de Rouen
Toujours un plaisir à choisir cet hôtel pour les déplacements sur Rouen. Une équipe qui a le sens du service. Les chambres sont confortables et bien équipées mais pas de climatisation ce qui peut être un peu dur lors des très fortes chaleurs. Un environnement calme et agréable, possibilité de balade à proximité pour se détendre.

Comfortable, clean, friendly and helpful staff. A nice quiet overnight stay. We would stay longer another time.

Confortable hôtel in quiet village
The good : Located in an attractive, established village on the high ground above Rouen and the Seine. Plentiful parking and secure store for bikes. Bike rental on site. Clean throughout. Lovely garden High standard and reasonably priced evening meal served inside or on the patio. Our room had a balcony overlooking garden. Not so good: No AC On our second night with the window open to cool the room we could hear folk chatting on the patio just below our window. They had finished their dinner and were just chatting. However, it kept us awake.

Jederzeit wieder
Zimmer mit grossem Schreibtisch (ausreichend Ablage), ausreichend Steckdosen und ein Kaffee/Tee-Kocher, dazu ein geräumiges Bad - ich bin voll zufrieden. Das Hotel hat eine nette Terrasse mit kleinem Garten. Freundlicher Service. Kleines Manko: kein Aufzug, nur Treppen. Vor dem Haus nur wenige Parkplätze, der hoteleigene Parkplatz ist ein gutes Stück entfernt.

2eme séjour et nous avons passé un excellent moment : de l'accueil, du personnel, chambre spacieuse avec vue sur le jardin, petit déjeuner varié et complet et pour finir le restaurant..tout était parfait. A recommander dans hésitation

Accueil effectué par le propriétaire : chaleureux, serviable . La chambre donne sur le jardin (très mignon), spacieuse, bien décorée et propre. La salle de bains : lavabo légèrement fêlé mais ne gêne absolument pas. Le TOP de notre séjour : le petit déjeuner ! Varié, frais, les produits sont délicieux (viennoiseries, jus et pains spéciaux). Une jolie adresse, qui vaut le détour, et nous reviendrons pour le restaurant.

Pour découvrir Rouen et sa région
Hotel agréable et situé dans un petit village très proche de Rouen. Chambre confortable. Bon point de départ pour découvrir cette très belle ville et aussi les sites des environs (Jumièges, boucles de la Seine ...).

Have stayed here several times and have been very pleased with the hotel....it was such a shame that this time we were woken up by noisy returning guests at three in the morning. Hope it was an isolated incident as we use this hotel on our return from France twice a year.

Bien dans l'ensemble
Nuit d'étape vers la Normandie. Aucun problème d'accès ni de parking. Accueil chaleureux. Problèmes d'alimentation électrique dans la chambre (la personne de la réception est montée en pleine nuit à notre appel pour essayer de réparer). Restaurant très bon et agréable, mais les conseils en vin n'étaient pas au niveau de l'assiette. Nuit un peu troublée par le bal de la noce au rez de chaussée. Petit déjeuner bien fourni (avec jus d'oranges pressées à volonté)

A little gem
We stayed at the hotel on the way back to Dieppe (approx 45 mins drive). Whilst on the outside it looks a bit 1970's, inside it's more modern & has a lovely garden. The room was large & comfortable with a large terrace overlooking the garden. We ate in the restaurant (on the terrace) which was excellent. The food was typically French, tasty & very good value for money. The breakfast was good too. We'd recommend this place & would definitely stay there again if we're sailing from Dieppe or other ports in that area.

Small quiet hotel outside city of Rouen.
Small quiet village north of Rouen with free parking. Rooms were comfortable and clean. No lift. Small attractive area to enjoy drinks on a patio and nice garden for kids. Food fairly priced and of good standard. Service a little basic. We wanted to leave by 0900 and breakfast was available from 0730 from memory. We were alone initially and service a little slow. Only hotel in village is a mixed blessing.

Nice room and quite location
We went there just for 1 night as we had a wedding near by. Arriving at the hotel the staff was not friendly at all, grumpy and talking to us as if we were stupid. I did not appreciate. However and fortunately, the rooms are nice, with a great view on a lovely garden, private balcony, lovely terrace at the ground floor...

Very comfortable hotel close to Rouen.
Another most enjoyable brief stay. We had forgotten how peaceful & quiet the hotel is & so near to Rouen. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the lovely garden.

Heat instead of Hospitality June 2014
My wife and i were traveling from Duesseldorf to Bordeaux on a Saturday with our 3-year old son and spent the night in Le Relais De Montigny. Even though it was a very warm day the heating could not be turned off - the room was like a baking oven. Our son didn't really like that. None of us got enough sleep. We continued to Bordeaux really tired. In the morning (Sunday) we tried to depart at about 07:15am without having beakfast (was as late as 08:00am). Nobody was at the reception, so we could not pay our bill. It was not possible to call any hotel employee. It wasn't even possible to leave the hotel, because every door was locked!! It took about half an hour (!) until someone showed up.

Nothing special, not bad, not good.
It was ok-ish. Nothing majorly wrong with it, but nothing I would rush back to. The room is fine, and the hotel has clearly benefitted from a recent makeover. But the rooms are small. The car park is a bit inconvenient. The restaurant food is fine, but the whole place seems understaffed and underserved.
