"I arrived early at the hotel around 1:45 PM, but I never requested an early check-in. I was completely fine with returning at the standard check-in time of 3 PM.
However, instead of simply asking me to come back later, the front desk staff asked me to scan a barcode and register through the hotel website. The connection did not work well, and I was left standing there trying repeatedly while feeling very tired.
I want to be clear that I did not ask for early check-in, nor did I need it. I even mentioned that I would go have a coffee and return at 3 PM. Only then was I told I could receive the room key later, and I was also asked to leave a positive review before even checking in.
I have stayed at this hotel location since 2018, and this was the first time I felt that the process was more focused on promoting the hotel rather than considering the guest’s comfort.
While the staff member was polite and smiling, the experience felt unnecessary and uncomfortable from my perspective."
