I had a wonderful stay, just that I was a little surprised to be told that the air conditioning had to be paid extra, but that was handled afterwards. otherwise nice setting, spacious, beautiful swimming pool access to the sea really nothing to say.

Jeg er fornøyd med alt bortsett fra mottagelsen. Jeg kom til hotellet med bekreftelse som jeg hadde fått på e-post på at alt var betalt fra hotels.com. Allikevel begynte han som sto i resepsjonen å lage masse problemer ut av at han ikke kunne vite om jeg hadde betalt og ville ha en natts betaling i depositum før han ville gi meg nøklene til rommet. Heldigvis ordnet det seg etter mye diskusjoner fem og tilbake ved hjelp av min venn som er gambisk og en kvinnelig ansatt i resepsjonen. Jeg mener at de som jobber i resepsjonen burde vite hva som er en gyldig bestilling.

First trip.

My first time to Gambia, won't be my last, had a very good time there, I stayed at Bungalow Beach hotel it was very clean pleasant, the staff were very helpful, I had an issue, that returning to my room been out all day my room door was left open by the guy that did the house keeping, that morning I was about to leave for the day when knocked I told him that I would be two minutes as all I had to do was to put my shirt on, which I did but when I stepped out of the room he was nowhere to be seen, he had left his cleaning trolley, so I pulled the door too and locked it. When I returned later that evening I noticed that my door was ajar I cautiously went in the room was made up all my belongings was still there. I reported it to the front desk.

Det var ett bra läge men tråkigt att man som hotellgäst måste betala för solsängarna på stranden. Man behöver inte göra det på resten av stranden. Riktigt tråkig frukost. Borde i alla fall ingå ägg. Alla extra kostnader borde ha varit mer informativt vid bokningstillfället.

Not the best hotel, there are better in Gambia

Restaurant staff needs to be better trained. There is NO customer service whatsoever! Food takes a long time to be prepared and when you ask for anything else it’s like you inconvenienced the waitress...noisy, drumming going on late into the night. I guess when you are not there for vacation it’s not really for you.

basic hotel away from tourist centre

The apartments are basic but ok, there are nearly no disturbing noises, restaurant is not interesting, breakfast is not to write home about, swimming pool I can't advise, massage-etc.-studio on the hotel building-site is good, hotel-crew is friendly and helpful, there are good restaurants around the corner (cheap as well as normal-priced), hotel is direct to the beach (some beach-restaurants are ok). So, it took me a few days to find my way, but then it was ok and I'm looking forward to come back
