Not nice this time

What can I say? This was my 3rd stay at this hotel but I won't be going back. Things have gone down hill with most of the staff developing a 'can't be bothered' attitude and not doing a very good job of disguising this. The owner, Mr Gaye, patrols the grounds 2 - 3 times a day but doesn't speak or acknowledge his guests. As we are lining his pockets would it not be curtious to enquire if everything is alright or if we are enjoying are stay? Also this man controls the amount of hot water available to guests. Staff have learnt to expect tips at the end of peoples stays. Our cleaner kept asking when we were leaving. When I told her tuesday she said 'oh that's my day off' tough I say as her cleaning was pretty poor and it looked like we had the same sheets for 8 days. On that subject.....on the last day I was rudely told by one the reception staff that I shoukd be leaving. When I said no because I'd booked for 8 nights he insisted that as I had arrived on the previous monday I should be leaving on monday. I insisted that I had 8 nights but he said no and told me to check my paperwork which when I did confirmed that my stay was 8 days! This mess was eventually cleared up but has left a bitter taste behind. An apology was made to me but the person who did this made me feel stupid!!!! On the plus side this hotel is in beautiful grounds which are kept immaculate by gardeners who have been told not to speak to the guests. Disappointed holiday beach!!!!
