"We were staying there after traveling for hours just to have a place to sleep. We arrived at 4:30am and when we got to the door we typed in our code which didn’t let us in. I contacted the owner who got back in a bit of time and figured it out after but when you’ve been traveling for hours and running on about 2 hours of sleep, standing on the sidewalk for 10 minutes feels like a long time!! It is great though how were were able to check in at any time!"

"This is an absolutely delightful boutique hotel. The host, Mario was so accommodating and considerate. The rooms are beautiful, and the grounds offer opportunities to relax in different spaces - poolside, gardens, private patio or shared interior lounge. If you are seeking quiet and a restorative environment this is ideal. Wifi is available but was weak in our room (3) which supported turning off connectivity and focusing on the moment. There’s a small fridge and safe in the room. The resident cat is charming as are the interiors - whimsical decor and abundant plants with lots of light and air flow. The simple breakfast was delicious and Mario was so kind to get it set up for us earlier so we could leave to catch our flight from Lisbon. It is a rural property so be aware that a car is needed to seek out meals but the nearby beach is a ten minute drive away and has a beautiful restaurant with a patio perfect for watching the sunset. "
