Great view and location. Hotel beds are the firmest hotel bed I’ve had and much too form for me. Breakfast was ok. Scrambled eggs were weird and crumbly every morning.

Very close access to the beach but very dated. Not up to a 4 star rating. Beds are rock hard, breakfast adequate but nothing special. Outdoor pool was lovely and nice shade from mature trees. Wouldn’t book it again for the price we paid!

This hotel is really nice and excellent location. The breakfast in the morning was great. There is an inside and outside pool, both very clean. The room are a bit small but are very clean. It’s located beach front and near great restaurants and different shops. Would return there without hesitation.

Super value for money

Superb location, beautiful views, helpful staff. Breakfast buffet was good enough especially considering the price of the room. Indoor swimming pool was very good and easy access to the beach made for a lovely stay. Car park was secure and plenty of space. We extended our stay an extra night as enjoyed it so much.

Great location in a charming neighborhood, close to restaurants and shops. Many tourist attractions were walkable( 25 min. To get to) and the buses and trolly were nearby. My room was very nice and had a view of the city! The only negatives- breakfast selection was not worth the extra charge. A coffee set up in the lobby would be nice and some bottled wayer for the room. Other than that- loved my stay!

Would stay again. 1966 hotel/conference center lovingly maintained. Very friendly staff Gorgeous beach views from the rooms and from the outdoor and indoor pool. Breakfast buffet has everything you might want.

We had a great time. There is lots to do and see around the area. The staff was wonderful. The beach is just steps away, but sometimes a lot of steps away depending on where you are in the hotel. The Outdoor and indoor pool were well kept.

Beautiful spot on the beach, great beach restaurants. Used the sauna but not the indoor pool because we didn’t have swim caps and they were required. Outdoor pool was also too cold to use because we went in November. Property can use some updating but our balcony overlooking the beach was fantastic!

Great spot 8/10

Hotel is very nice. Had a beautiful, huge balcony looking out to the sea. Location is perfect for avenue with a lot of dining options. Only negative thing I will say about the hotel is the layout. Very confusing floor plan Weber no elevator takes you from your room to the beach exit. You have to take certain elevators from floor 8 to 5, then find the other wing’s elevator to get to the ground level. Got lost and turned around a few times.

Pros are that the property was easy to access with a convenient car park. It also has nice views and a unique mid century style. Con is that I booked a double room and was given a twin. For two (seperate) days there was no hot water in the room. The first day without hot water the hotel staff came to the room to check just confirmed no hot water and left without fixing the problem. The second time they didn’t believe us and simply told us to wait longer for the water to heat up. The room felt dated, it had nowhere to put clothe other than a rail, and the extractor fan didn’t work in the bathroom. The nail in the coffin is that there’s no iron in the room. Instead you have to pay for a service which charges 14 euros per item. Entirely a hidden fee, especially since you can’t just borrow the iron/steamer and have to pay. Overall the hotel is cheaper than others in Sesimbra and maybe the quality of service reflects this. But with issues in the booking, a staff that is not helpful, à gym with machines that may break at any time, I would not recommend this hotel.

A lovely traditional building but seems to have downgraded since covid. No glasses in rooms just paper cups. Rooms booked were supposed to be large enough for 3 people but this resulted in a smaller balcony and a poorer view. Staff in restaurant for breakfast were unhelpful except for Otilde who did everything she could to make our stay better. She deserves a lot of credit. No breakfast tea bags and the hot plates were never switched on so food that should have been hot was cold. Unfortunately poor British tourists in the garden playing football. When asked politely to stop they were very rude. "We have paid a lot of money to come here". Well, if you happen to read this, so had everybody else so I suggest you spend some money and learn to read and have some respect for others. It said clearly no ball games in the garden. Go on the beach! Staff on duty during the day in the bar could do with some lessons in smiling and customer service. Can't fault cleanliness. This used to be a lovely friendly hotel but seems to have lost its way.

Initially difficult to find the hotel as maps took me the wrong direction. Beautiful location on the beach with great views. The rooms are outdated but generally comfortable. The breakfast had good selection. The off season price was good. I have to return in season.
