The property itself is worth it all. The rooms very spacious and well decorated . The staff from check in to check out were five star. My wife and I visit Portugal several times during the year and this resort is on the top of our list.

Most impressive hotel is Comporta

Very impressive hotel from the time you enter the gate house. Staff is friendly, helpful, and honest. Make sure your check out the design of underground garage.

A little heaven

Excellent. We stayed in a pool view double room, it was spacious, very large bed and bright. Whilst the weather was not great, we took the opportunity to relax in a the lovely spa. The breakfast is expansive and staff are. Helpful. Would come again

Overall, our experience at Quinta was very good. The property is absolutely beautiful, and the staff were very good. We especially enjoyed out bike tour led by one of the young staff members. Our experience was detracted by two things. The quality of the food (to price), specifically the dinner was not up to par with other comparable properties. When we stayed at the property, occupancy of the property was low, as we stayed at the end of November. We were put in the nearest suite to the reception, which was convenient, however, we suffered from a tremendous amount of noise from the comings and going of other guests and cleaning staff.

Overpriced

Front desk seemed bothered all three times I was there. Spa was dirty. The floors were more like a garage cement floor that was painted by amateurs and had several spots that were peeling. This property is very over priced and overrated. Location is also very poor. Staff was a mixed bag. Some were very friendly and helpful others were miserable.

Certain areas in need of upkeep, with flooding outside the room and chipping paint everywhere. It was difficult to get around the hotel on foot - particularly at night with poor illumination and no buggies. Every time you want to get to the car to head to a restaurant for dinner you’ll be walking for >5 minutes in the dark and pouring rain. Friendly but inexperienced staff. No area for hotel guests to socialise at night - the reception area is small and you’re pretty much on top of the receptionists and at the restaurant there’s limited seating if you’re not eating and you’ll be hounded to order drinks every few minutes. Every activity you can think of requires additional payment, which is in poor taste for a 5 star hotel. As far as luxury hotels in Comporta go, this one is not even close to the level of Sublime. If you’re on the fence, I would opt for Sublime any day of the week - better amenities, service, staff, food and overall experience.

Die Anlage und die Zimmer sind in einem hervorragenden Zustand. Kombiniert mit einer sehr guten Küche und einem Personal, das perfekten Service wirklich lebt ergibt zusammen eine tolle Basis für einen enzspannten Urlaub. Wenn man dann noch die traumhaften Strände und die in vielen Teilen noch unberührte Natur des Alentejo entdeckt, bleibt kaum ein Wunsch offen.
