Unfortunately being in the tropics also comes with certain shortfalls - whereby sometimes one is inundated with what mother nature bestows upon us. These are midges and not folies and although very frustrating and irritating when they invade ones room - or our islands - there is very little we can do to prevent this - and that is why - we do advise guests to keep their room doors and windows closed at night - to minimise the effect of this. This does not occur often - thankfully and we are sorry that you had the experience of these flying ants.We apologise for the inconvenience and wish you a safe and peaceful year ahead.

Dear GuestThank you for taking the time to rate your stay here with us.We apologise if there were any misunderstanding with your VIP perks - however, we did advise via Expedia that the room upgrade was not available - at the time of your booking - which in turn you should have received a \notification of this from them. In a case like this the Spa discount - is automatically offered by them to you - should you use the spa - and this is generally received when you make the booking with them.Nevertheless, please accept our apologies accordingly.The general check in procedure is that after your briefing, once your key is presented to you - you will be escorted to your room accordingly. As there were also other guests arriving simultaneously - and according to how the rooms are made available and ready - Ahmed did meet you in the lobby and personally escorted you to your room.We apologise - should there have been an oversight on our part - however it does seem that you enjoyed your stay with us - and we take this opportunity in wishing you pleasant and safe onward travels - and a some lovely memories of your stay in the Seychelles.
