“A really lovely little place to stay. The room was spacious and the bed super comfortable. Having kitchen facilities to use is a bonus although we didn’t use them. The shower wasn’t great (rain head only) and I really struggled to work it. It would also be great to have a mirror in the bedroom area for getting ready as the only mirror was in the bathroom. ”

“Room was a little tired but overall okay. Minor issues like ripped wallpaper etc. My only issue was the fact the latch was slightly damaged on the inside so I had no way to properly lock the door. I had to put the chain on and shove a doorstop under the door, as a solo female traveller this made me a little uncomfortable. Walls are very thin so be aware if you’re a light sleeper. “Our stay at Sentry Mead was absolutely perfect. Wendy, Steve and the other staff are friendly and helpful and go out of their way to add special little touches. They managed a couple of special requests for us during our stay as well. The breakfast was excellent - including gluten free options for me - and a wide variety of things to choose from.
