Bit old school but well maintained. Staff were great. Close to everything in Sheffield. Curtains in room 9 could do with a rethink as the rooms remained well lit with the curtains drawn.

The property and facilities were ok. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Between 8:30pm and 11:00pm there were men right outside our room (smoking?) harassing us. We couldn’t leave the room without them yelling at us and trying to get our attention. We were doing laundry so had to exit. My daughter refused after one encounter. Really intimidating. ALSO at 7:00am construction started right beside our unit. BLARING music and using construction equipment. I would definitely not recommend unless things change around there.

We found this property worthwhile staying at. It is central to lots of the hikes we were keen on doing. The pleasant surprise was the meals at the pub across the road. Very clean rooms also.

The property was great in the fact it had a kitchenette so we didn’t have to go out for breakfast. The only negative was that the shower had a curtain which kept sticking to you if you moved too much.
