"Booked a weekend as we came over for the rugby. The staff were extremely helpful and polite. we ate in the restaurant on the Friday and had a lovely meal. The hotel is very busy on rugby days but it doesn’t impact on the service. Wish we could have stayed longer. Taxi from the port 20 mins and €22. Bus and dart from the port €5 each and took over an hour."

"Beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. The staff should tell people that the Hop on Hop Off bus stops at 5pm"

"Excellent location. Excellent bed. Get free cocktails if you opt out of room cleaning. The breakfast is overpriced just cross the street and you wiii have excellent breakfast at half the cost"

The only issue I had was that the shower was very weak, but i didnt bother to complain and maybe its just an issue for the room i got. Everything else was great and id recommend this hotel"

"Good room and good location! The staff was really nice. Our room was slightly warm in the night, but not enough to be a major issue and we didn’t ask for help. I was worried about noise based on other reviews, but we didn’t have noise issues. Maybe a little bit from the street on Friday night because we were on the street side, but nothing from inside the hotel. I would definitely stay again"

"Stayed in 2024, returned again. First night of a week stay, the room was hot. Front desk staff moved us to another room, no issue, even with my frustrations. No complaints and better this stay with the coffee area open, restaurant operating, etc. Brought son and daughter in law along and they enjoyed their room as well. So close to Lua tram, Centra market for snacks, etc. Love Beckett Locke"
