A couple of farmers markets with unique and affordable shops. Amazing local farm food.The Shenandoah caverns are also very nice with friendly staff. There are also 3 other unique attractions along with the caverns. The GreenValley Book fair is also a great find with amazing variety and deals. They are only open at certain times of the year so be sure to check before going. The lavender farm is also a unique fun experience.

The beautiful tiger at the Luray Rescue Zoo. This zoo holds animals that are unable to be cared for any more or should never have become House pets to begin with. The man that owns the place was born and raised in an animal loving family and his respect and love for the animals show through his interactions and knowledge. You can schedule a behind the scenes tour of the zoo if you call ahead. During this tour I was able to pet a porcupine, feeds goats, feed bananas to a lemur, and feed the tiger pictured. An amazing zoo with an amazing story #lurayzoo #rescuezoo
