We have stayed at this motel on two occasions now and have recommended it to others because it is comfy and clean and has a good space. It is also close in proximity to our friend's cabin which is where we spend most of our time. Love the area - lake life, forests, and some wildlife.

The room was a lot smaller and totally different than any of the pictures on Expedia. Wifi didn’t work. No control of heat settings for the room. Was unbearably hot all night. Otherwise the room was clean, comfortable and the staff were friendly.

Walls are thin and can hear people in the next suite’s conversations almost word for word. The entire suite could have been cleaned more thoroughly, especially the bathrooms as there was build up on the baseboards and spaces beside sink. It’s nice that it has a kitchenette and though they provide dishes and a dish sponge, there was no dish soap provided, and I could not wash dishes that I’d used.

Careful booking here with Expedia, room was not at all the same room that was shown on my booking. I told the person running it this and he told me that those photos should not be on Expedia. Very thin walls can hear the room beside you very easily. Also no heat so was pretty cold in there. Decently clean and nice furniture though.

The room was very nice with recently updated attractive decor with good kitchen facilities. The proximity to Interlakes Market was nice. Our son has property in the area. All in all a very good stay. Would like to stay there next year as well. The only frustration was that the toilet see was wobbly. This is a common problem with toilet seats. The seat has nylon nuts on metal bolts to fasten the seat tightly; they often strip form normal usage. The repair is quite cheap. This is a good place to stay.

If I could give '0' I would, it was agreed we'd arrive before 6pm (we got there at 5pm), nobody there. Followed the instructions on the office door and went to the store next door. The kind lady at the store contacted the owner to say we'd arrived, it took another phone call and a 45 minute wait before the owner arrived. No apology was given for making us wait, the room was filthy, thick dust, an old sock and an empty water bottle left behind bedside table, dry urine on toilet seat, dirty tide mark in toilet, spilt milk left in fridge causing terrible smell. We got up at 6am to leave the property ! Terrible.

Disorganized staff. Shared door was not sound proof and the musty moldy smell was not great. Shower was leaking into the wall which I would assume was creating the odor. Disappointing as the room description said renovationed etc.

I had a prepaid reservation that was not honoured by the motel because it was overbooked. I was not contacted by the motel or by Expedia. Learning at 7:30pm that you don't have a room is not acceptable. The motel claims to have called and left a message, but I don't believe it since my phone has no record.
