"The staff of the hotel was more than perfect: we arrived in an awful rainstorm, and they sent us a shuttle, so we didn’t have to go up to the entrance. In another event, someone at the lobby helped me navigate a Japanese only website to get a reservation for a bus service.
The hotel is on a hill, and the upwards road is around 20 minutes from the bus central. It’s much - much! - easier if you have a car. It can be grueling if you have big bags or if you spent the day hiking.
