"One night in Kolkata before our flight home and wanted to treat ourselves. Fantastic service, all staff very helpful and accommodating, nothing way too much. Pool was quiet and relaxed and a well equipped gym. Breakfast was amazing! Lots of choice with local favourites and our waiter Aditya was amazing and arrange a lovely cake for use to take away. Will certainly be coming back. "

" I stayed at Fern Inn near Ballygunge Railway Station for 6 days, and my experience was genuinely amazing. The staff members were extremely helpful, and the host Avishek was experienced, polite, and very cool in nature. The owners were a very patient and humble couple, which made the overall stay even more comfortable. The rooms were clean, well maintained, and worth the price. Some reviews mentioned noise because of the nearby railway station, but I personally never felt any disturbance — it was peaceful throughout my stay. "Quite a treat of a small hotel in a friendly area. The hotel is situated opposite a park which is used regularly by locals for cricket, football, games and general hanging out. The rooms / beds are comfortable but overall the hotel needs tidying up or redecorating. Service is excellent: staff do all they can to help and ensure our stay was good. WiFi is hit-and-miss. "
