"The hotel was nice, the staffs are friendly and accommodating. The flight sucks it’s not the hotel fault it’s Expedia, the airport they send us is in Surigao another island so we have to ride a boat for 2hrs to get to siargao and another to go back to Manila and we got no help from Expedia and the airline, not going to book again thru Expedia they suck."

The lush gardens, the beach, the ocean, the pool, the spacious eating area/restaurant, and even the sunrise and sunset - they all seemed at our exclusive beck and call! Thank you to the owners and the staff at Retreat Siargao Resort for making our first trip to Siargao truly memorable. We will be back and take more friends along with us when we do!"

I left my keys 3x on the door handle and my room was never opened . If you get there , talk with the owner and learn the history of the hotel . "Nice place to stay, unpretentious. What you see is what you get. A lil aircon problem when we were there but we are supplemented with another room for free with better airconditioning and a free motor for a day! I am impressed with their staff and their willingness to make it up for any inconvenience. Accomodating and responsive. The place has a common kitchen which makes it very good for groups and those who wants to save money as siargao can get really expensive! Will stay here again for cheaper accomodations and convenience. "
